Yesterday's game proved to very much be a game of 2 halves. Despite a strong first 5 minute spell Wanstead showed their class with a break away try, which they added to not too long after. The game looked to be more uphill when we received a red card.

Still feeling sorry for ourselves we continued to make hard work of the game for ourselves. An injury to captain Josh Preston only added to the struggles. The game turned slightly when Wanstead picked up a red card of their own.

The second half was a much better representation of the Coops we have become used to seeing with just the one try scored in the second half.

Yesterday's man of the match was for a player who consistently stepped up in the last line of defence and helped steady the game once he come on, Sam Backham.

A special mention to Harry Whyman who stepped up as captain.
